Taylor LaVohn along with Boy Scout Troop 769 has taken on the project of beautifying the corner at Shady Grove and Nursery. The project included planting shrubs; removing stumps; replacing the rotted wood, repainting the sign; and, replacing the landscape timbers. On behalf of New Beginnings Fellowship, we want tothank all who participated in this wonderful effort and look forward to seeing what the corner will look like as the plantings mature.

Shipley Home Group: Home Group is a great way to connect in a deeper way with the church family. This small group Bible study is currently looking at the beliefs of various religions and sects around the world with an emphasis on knowing what the Bible says to be true but also how to love these other people into the kingdom. The Shipley Home Group meets each Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall (except for the first Friday of each month). For more information call Don or Mary Shipley at 972/255-8741. There are many maintenance needs around our church building - inside and out. The men of the church are encouraged to come enjoy a little fellowship with each other as they work together. Many hands make the job go quicker! Meet at the shed at 8a.m. on Saturday morning.

Next Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, Pastor Tim will be sharing about taking a "time out" with the Lord. This week's theme is "What You Have in Christ."

Do you have any unwanted, used, or broken cell phones that you want to donate? Or do you have empty ink cartridges? Your donation will help us raise money and also protect the environment. Your unwanted cell phones and inkjet cartridges will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations; or, refurbished and reused. And, depending on the value of the items you donate, your donation may be tax deductible. All of the proceeds from the items we collect will help fund our youth group.

Collect labels and UPC codes of Best Choice brands, the private label products from Minyards, Sack `n Save, and Carnival. The Youth will receive 3 cents per label.

Keep in Mind If you purchase anything at Office Depot, NBF has signed up for their Rewards Program, Just give the cashier the church phone number (972/579-7850) when you check out. New Beginnings will receive a percentage of your purchase. This quarter we received $40.63 that we can use for church supplies.

You will only be scheduled once every two or three months and will have a helper. Benefits include a free CD of the service on your scheduled Sunday.
