All Scriptures Amplified Version unless noted.
The Lord wants to be your rock, your refuge, your hiding place, your tower, your stronghold in the time of trouble. He wants to be your secret place.
ROMANS 1:17 (Amplified Bible) For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.
Do you trust in the Lord or in the flesh? You are making great progress when you discover you cannot solve your problems. You gain wisdom when you figure out that other people are not the answer to your problems.
A mind in doubt causes a man to be unstable in all his ways.
Living from faith to faith is operating with a positive attitude.
Having faith is seeing situations and people with hope
He works the details out for good to those who love the Lord.
What the enemy means for my harm, God will work out for my good and His Glory.
Faith is looking beyond where we are to where God wants you to be.
The way to trust God with your problems is to turn your mind to the loving kindness of the Lord.
Tips to Overcome Torment:
Relocate the focus of your mind from the problem to the loving kindness of God - Create a Thanksgiving Journal.
Reach out for a Thanksgiving party. Call others to remind you of the goodness of God.
Reverse do something different - change channels.
Release the Junk Empty your heart by talking it out with someone you trust. WARNING - This is a transition gear not a final gear.
JOHN 10:10 (Amplified) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
“Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus. When you really love God, you can enjoy everything at a greater level because we are in Him and He is in us. The lord can help you enjoy all facets of your life; but first enjoy Him.
ROMANS 1:17 (Amplified) For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. COLOSSIANS 2:6 As you have therefore received Christ, [even] Jesus the Lord, [so] walk (regulate your lives and conduct yourselves) in union with and conformity to Him.
The reason a lot of Christians have fragmented lives is that they live faith to doubt to faith to doubt. When you start living from faith to faith to faith, you enter into the Rest of God.

EPHESIANS 2:6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
HEBREWS 4:3 For we who have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on God) do enter that rest, in accordance with His declaration that those [who did not believe] should not enter when He said, As I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest; and this He said although [His] works had been completed and prepared [and waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world.
The fruit of trusting in Jesus is rest. You cannot enter God's rest if you are not believing. This is real evidence of whether we are walking in faith or not. Rest. We can say we are in faith, but if we are not experiencing His rest, we are deceived; Faith brings us into His rest.
HEBREWS 4:10 For he who has once entered [God's] rest also has ceased from [the weariness and pain] of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His own.
What is Faith?
COLOSSIANS 1:4 For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus the leaning of your entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness] and of the love which you [have and show] for all the saints (God's consecrated ones),
Fruit of Faith:
You trust Christ with all that you are.
You have and show love for all the saints.
(If you don't love by faith, you love like the world - by performance)
Faith is: Absolute trust and confidence in God's Power, Wisdom, and Goodness.
He can fix your problem - His power
EPHESIANS 3:20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]-
God knows how to fix your problem - Wisdom
God's Goodness is His heart for you.
EPHESIANS 2:10 For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].
PSALM 62:1-2 For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation. 2He only is my Rock and my Salvation, my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be greatly moved.
PSALM 62:5-8 My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him.
6He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved.
7With God rests my salvation and my glory; He is my Rock of unyielding strength and impenetrable hardness, and my refuge is in God!
8Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
LUKE 22:42 Saying, Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done.
Trust takes care of timing - Rest.
Wisdom Key - Enter His rest concerning other people. Your faith is not a tool to control people. You can't make people respond the way you want. Other people's bad choices can affect your joy and peace. By faith, seek - diligently to enter His rest and receive peace and joy - ASAP - in spite of their choices.
You will not further the Kingdom and bring honor and glory by letting the enemy steal and keep your joy, peace, rest and hope.
PSALM 34:1 I will Bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
PSALM 91:1-2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. 2I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
It is time for the Body of Christ to grow up and trust God for more than things. We need to trust Him in and through things, storms, and tribulations.

PROVERBS 3:5-7 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. 7Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.
If your mind is in turmoil, you are not trusting God. Trusting in Him, Confidence in Him will give a positive attitude and a positive mouth.
You don't know what all God is doing - God does!
DEUTERONOMY 8:2 And you shall [earnestly] remember all the way which the Lord your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and to prove you, to know what was in your [mind and] heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.
The purpose of testing then was to see if they would love Him in the wilderness.
Are you in a test? The Lord wants to prove what is inside of you. Are you loving Him through the wilderness?
DEUTERONOMY 8:3-6 And He humbled you and allowed you to hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you recognize and personally know that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord. 4Your clothing did not become old upon you nor did your feet swell these forty years. 5Know also in your [minds and] hearts that, as a man disciplines and instructs his son, so the Lord your God disciplines and instructs you. 6So you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and [reverently] fear Him.
According to some present day faith teachers, the grade of faith is prosperity. The REAL grade of faith is diligence. Following - Not Quitting - Walking in Rest, Peace, Joy and Love.
DEUTERONOMY 8:7-9 7For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills; 8A land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey; 9A land in which you shall eat food without shortage and lack nothing in it; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.
EXODUS 13:17 When Pharaoh let the people go, God led them not by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was nearer; for God said, Lest the people change their purpose when they see war and return to Egypt.
Will you trust God?
Our God is the All-Sufficient, All Knowing, Ever Present God. Without Faith, it is impossible to please God. Those that come to Him must believe that He is and the He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Faith is the leaning of the entire personality on God - Absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness.
