JOSHUA 1:8 (Amplified Bible) This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.
JOHN 1:1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
JOHN 1:14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.
GENESIS 1:1-3 In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. 3And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.
II CORINTHIANS 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).
REVELATIONS 19:13 He is dressed in a robe dyed by dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of God.
Title - Word of God
REVELATIONS 12:11 And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].
JOHN 5:38 And you have not His word (His thought) living in your hearts, because you do not believe and adhere to and trust in and rely on Him Whom He has sent. [That is why you do not keep His message living in you, because you do not believe in the Messenger Whom He has sent.]

PSALM 138:1-4 I will confess and praise You [O God] with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praises to You.
2I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!
3ln the day when I called, You answered me; and You strengthened me with strength (might and inflexibility to temptation) in my inner self.
4AII the kings of the land shall give You credit and praise You, O Lord, for they have heard of the promises of Your mouth [which were fulfilled].
Luke 4:1-13 Then Jesus, full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led in [by] the [Holy] Spirit
2For (during) forty days in the wilderness (desert), where He was tempted (tried, tested exceedingly) by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they were completed, He was hungry.
3Then the devil said to Him, If You are the Son of God, order this stone to turn into a loaf [of bread].
4And Jesus replied to him, It is written, Man shall not live and be sustained by (on) bread alone but by every word and expression of God.
5Then the devil took Him up to a high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the habitable world in a moment of time [in the twinkling of an eye].
6And he said to Him, To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will.
7Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me [just once], it shall all be Yours.
8And Jesus replied to him, Get behind Me, Satan! It is written, You shall do homage to and worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.
9Then he took Him to Jerusalem and set Him on a gable of the temple, and said to Him, If You are the Son of God, cast Yourself down from here;
10For it is written, He will give His angels charge over you to guard and watch over you closely and carefully;
11 And on their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
12And Jesus replied to him, [The Scripture] says, You shall not tempt (try, test exceedingly) the Lord your God.
13And when the devil had ended every [the complete cycle of] temptation, he [temporarily] left Him [that is, stood off from Him] until another more opportune and favorable time.
WARNING! Prosperity will not make you happy. It is your contentment in the Lord that allows you to enjoy your journey!

The enemy offered power. People sell their soul for power. Be advised - The enemy offers his best before God offers His best.
PSALM 37:1 Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness (that which is not upright or in right standing with God).
PSALM 37:7 Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
PSALM 37:20 (NEW KING JAMES) But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the LORD, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away.
What is materialism, position, or power compared to peace and joy and love? In the end, The meek and the righteous will inherit the earth. Take a stand for righteousness and you will reap what you sow.
II TIMOTHY 3:16 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action)
JEREMIAH 23:29 Is not My word like fire [that consumes all that cannot endure the test]? says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks in pieces the rock [of most stubborn resistance]?-
